Vertex: The common end point of two rays is a Vertex.
 
Degree Measure of an Arc: is equal to the measure of the central angle that intercepts the arc.
 
Chord: A Chord of a circle is a line segment whose end points are points of the circle.
 
Diameter: A Diameter of a circle is a chord that has as one of its points the center of the circle.
 
Inscribed Angle: An Inscribed Angle of a circle is an angle whose vertex is on the circle and whose sides contain chords of the circle.
 
Tangent: A Tangent to a circle is a line in the plane of the circle that intersects the circle in exactly one point.
 
Secant: A Secant of a circle is a line that intersects the circle in two points.
 
Tangent Segment: A Tangent Segment is a segment of a tangent line, one of whose endpoints is the point of tangency.
