Music Department

The Music Department is committed to nurturing musical creativity, performance, and appreciation for all students. We offer a broad range of opportunities — from classroom music instruction and instrument lessons to choral, band, and orchestra ensembles — designed to engage learners from beginner to advanced levels. Our mission is to provide a learning environment where students can explore the world of music, develop personal expression, collaborate with peers, and build confidence through performance.

What We Offer

  • Regular music classes that explore singing, rhythm, instruments, music theory, and listening skills.

  • Instrumental and vocal ensembles (band and chorus) that meet during school.

  • Performance opportunities through concerts, festivals, and community events.

  • Music technology, composition opportunities, and collaborative projects (depending on grade level).

  • Support for students of all backgrounds — whether they are just beginning or preparing for advanced musical study.

Why Music Matters

Music supports creative thinking, enhances academic achievement, builds teamwork, and enriches student life. Through our program, students not only learn musical skills but also grow as communicators, collaborators, and culturally aware individuals. A strong music education fosters confidence, self-expression, and lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Our Goal

We aim to ensure that every student has meaningful access to music instruction — and the chance to perform, grow, and belong. Whether your child is picking up their first instrument or preparing for the stage, the Music Department is here to help them find their voice.
