Related Services

Related services are support services provided to help students with disabilities benefit from their special education program. These services are determined by the Committee on Special Education (CSE) and are included in each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).

At Belleville Henderson Central School, related services may include:

  • Speech and Language Therapy – Supports communication skills including speech, language, and social communication.

  • Occupational Therapy (OT) – Helps students develop fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.

  • Physical Therapy (PT) – Focuses on improving mobility, balance, strength, and coordination to support participation in school activities.

  • Counseling Services – Provides emotional, behavioral, or social support to help students succeed in school.

  • Consultation Services – Allows related service providers to work directly with teachers and staff to support student success in the classroom.
