School Closing Information
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. When weather conditions or emergencies make it necessary to delay, close, or dismiss school early, Belleville Henderson Central School will notify families as quickly and clearly as possible.
How We Communicate Closings and Delays:

ParentSquare: Official alerts will be sent directly to parents and staff via text, email, and phone.

District Website & Social Media: Announcements will appear on the homepage and district Facebook page.

Local Media: School closings and delays will be shared with local television and radio stations.
Types of Announcements:

Two-Hour Delay: Buses will run two hours later than normal. Breakfast may not be served.

School Closing: All classes and after-school activities are canceled.

Early Dismissal: Parents and guardians will be notified in advance whenever possible. Please ensure your child knows where to go in the event of an early dismissal.
