The 2nd graders will be introduced to Kelso the Frog and be learning Kelso's Choice: Conflict Management for Children. The goals of the program are to help young people learn a lifelong conflict resolution tool and to help young people develop and sustain the belief that they are strong enough and smart enough to resolve their own minor problems. They will be learning and practicing the "9 tools" throughout the school year that include:Go to Another Game, Share and Take Turns, Talk it out, Walk Away, Ignore it,Tell them to Stop, Apologize, Make a Deal and Wait and Cool Off.
